What We Believe
The warm winds of the spring of 1922 begin to blow life into the winter-ravaged trees of northern Catahoula
Parish. Also rising on those winds was a revival of the upper-room experience.
Men of God were led to come and preach repentance, water baptism in Jesus name for the remission of sins,
and the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
The phenomenon of Pentecost began to spread in April of 1922 when people began to receive the Holy Ghost
and were baptized in Jesus name. The fires of this revival in Acts the second chapter caught fire and continue
to burn even unto this day.
This beautiful church sits on the banks of Rosin Creek today as a testimony of the longevity of the Pentecostal
experience. That experience is now in its fourth and fifth generation here!
The doors of the Rosin Creek Pentecostal Church stand open to those who wish to amplify their relationship
with God in the fires of the Pentecostal revival. This relationship has leaped the pages of time from Acts 2
even until this present time.
Pastor A. J. Kimball and the congregation at Rosin Creek Pentecostal Church invite you to come join us in
lively worship in "A Church where Miracles Happen!!".
Acts 2:37-38
37 Now when they heard
this, they were pricked in
their heart, and said unto
Peter and to the rest of
the apostles, Men and
brethren, what shall we
do?
38 Then Peter said unto
them, Repent, and be
baptized every one of you
in the name of Jesus
Christ for the remission of
sins, and ye shall receive
the gift of the Holy Ghost.
